Saturday, 26 April, 2025

Morning

A number of breakfast options are nearby to make your own arrangements. We will then leave at 10.30am to visit a nearby shed to view a Phantom II restoration project, and a road legal car with a 27 litre Rolls-Royce Meteor engine.

Midday

After the shed visit, lunch will be by your own arrangements, we will recommend options back near our accommodation.

Afternoon

After lunch we will have our annual Concours at the local VCC clubrooms on their front lawn. There club rooms will be open and they will have tea, coffee, sandwiches, scones and cakes for us. We hope to arrange a couple of car cleaning areas on an asphalt car park adjoining their properties for those who wish to tidy their cars. We will also be having local people with Bentleys and Rolls-Royces park their cars on the lawn too so we can have a look at their cars while the judges are working hard.

AGM and Formal Dinner

The AGM will start at 5.30pm at the Tauranga Club, which is very near our accommodation, followed by fellowship in the bar, and our annual formal dinner around 7pm. This will include our annual prizegiving, and possibly a guest speaker. Cost for the formal dinner, excluding drinks is $79pp.

Sunday, 27 April, 2025

Morning

After checking out of our accommodation, we will head to the Classic Flyers museum in Mt Maunganui, where we will park our cars inside their complex on the apron in front of their main hangar. They have set aside seating in their café for us to enjoy brunch, and we may also have a short guided tour of a couple of special areas of the museum not usually open to the public.

This will be the conclusion of the main AGM weekend activities

Post AGM Tour South

After the Classic Flyers visit a group of cars will be slowly heading south on a leisurely tour, with overnight stops planned at Opotiki, Gisborne and Napier before all dispersing home. If you are interested in this tour, please indicate the number of people for each night below. You will be contacted about the tour so that motel bookings can be made at each point along the way.

There is no registration fee payable, and all activities are to be self-funded except for the four meal options detailed above.
